January 2003
Well, back from the Christmas break and......................no
sounds AT ALL from the loft, I am very hopeful they have gone. I mean I can't
blame them for wanting to live here, it is a lovely cottage but, it is mine!
The rain has subsided now, and we have snow. Still four contented house cats, I suppose sooner or later they will start to explore again. I suspect it will be once the weather improves and the comings and goings and noise from next door stops. Georgie is going out in the evening but she is always back by about 10pm and curled up on my bed ready to stay the night with me. Thomas and Buster venture out for necessity purposes and that's about it.
Runcie has not been too well, upset tummy which I think is more to do with her kidney complaint than anything else although she is still very happy in herself. She has just had a new blood test which is showing Kretanine as still being high but not excessively so. She is just getting old and what with her not having a good start in life (being dumped at 9 months!) I am told she is likely to age a little faster than a cat who has always been well looked after.
A very cold month and most of the time was spent sleeping. Roll on spring!
